"A Digital Marketer and a Barber walk into a bar… and the rest is history! Ten years of traveling later, including six years of calling London home, and this city-loving couple tied the knot at at Melbourne’s Butler Lane, perfectly captured by Long Way Home."
"An eye for detail and a shared love of Italian food were at the heart of this marketer/designer duo’s Carlton wedding. Jenn and James whipped up their modern Melbourne do in just four months, enlisting a few superstar vendors to help make their vision a reality."
To save their guests from travelling too far, the couple wanted both their ceremony and reception in one place. After seeing a number of potential venues around Melbourne, they felt none of them were the right fit to accommodate their numbers and vision. “The venue was really important to us and as soon as we walked into Half Acre, we knew it was the one,” recalls Tash. “It was intimate but spacious. Warm yet modern,” says Tash. For the reception, the couple’s Greek and Italian roots meant that food and drinks were a key focus – and they weren’t disappointed. Caterers Food and Desire left guests both full and suitably tipsy.
"Mountain Goat Brewery in Richmond was the first and only venue Rachael and Jack looked at for their wedding. With a shared love for craft beer, the duo knew getting married at a brewery would be the perfect fit for them. Reflecting their low-key personalities, the ceremony and reception was stripped back to showcase what the venue already offered. Stylist Paula from The Small Things Co complimented the brewery’s exposed brick and high ceilings with minimal touches of gold and copper, while Viv from Flos Botanical Studio tied everything together with moody-romantic flowers."
